College student dies in an early morning car accident

Young people go off to college in Ohio to prepare for the rest of their lives. Families send them off for their first year full of hopes and dreams. Anticipation of graduation and the next phase of a young person's life is never far from a family's thoughts. When a tragic car accident cuts short those dreams, the stress to a family can be overwhelming.

Such was the case for a young woman who attended Bowling Green State University and was a student teacher at a local high school. She was the passenger in a car driven by a classmate who was also a student teacher at the school. The accident happened near Fostoria when the car carrying the two women, a Honda Civic, collided with a Jeep Cherokee. The passenger in the Honda Civic was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred at 7:12 a.m.  The driver of the Jeep Cherokee was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

A car accident in Ohio such as the one above is devastating to the families and loved ones of the deceased. Dealing with funeral arrangements and coping with the shock of the death of their loved one will be at the forefront of the family's thoughts. Pursuing legal avenues in such a situation can be stressful. Families facing similar circumstances may benefit from a conversation with an experienced personal injury attorney. A successfully litigated claim can aid with final costs, pain and suffering and other documented losses.
